“Localize Everything Everywhere” is the concept WideFind is executing by using advanced technology to develop accuracy and performance, including 3D localization.
This week’s Red Hot PCB is an Ultra Wideband (UWB) radio carrier, and is equipped with an IMU and barometer, as well as a power manager to be able to charge a battery from a USB connection.
The UWB radio carrier can attach to either a DWM1000 module, or WideFind’s own module. Here is a video of the PCB in action, it shows how the localization system enables autonomous flight of a drone.
